Animal rescue/humane officer: the humane socity of wickenburg provides animal services to support community safety and animal well-being. Our humane officer responds to calls for service related to animals at large, animal welfare concerns, and snake removal, as well as reports of neglect, cruelty, abandonment, stray or injured animals, and public safety concerns; assists with investigations; documents cases; and coordinates with law enforecement and veterinary professionals. The program emphasizes prevention, education, safe animal handling, and responsible care to improve animal welfare outcomes.

Animeals: the humane society of wickenburg's animeals program provides free, customized pet meals and essential supplies tailored to each pet's individual needs for community members experiencing hardship, mobility limitations, or other barriers to pet food access. The program is facilitated by trained volunteers who package and personally deliver items directly to participants' homes. In addition to supporting responsible pet ownership and reducing shelter surrender, these visits provide regular welfare check-ins for homebound individuals who may not otherwise have personal contact or support, helping promote both animal well-being and human connection.
