Mission
Humanity for Freedom Foundation is a global non-profit that assists those who face the evils of authoritarianism as well as undertakes research promotes public policies that support freedom and helps the courageous opponents of authoritarianism. Working across conflict zones HFF provides on-the-ground support to displaced peoples and those living through war against authoritarian regimes as well as helping countries BE PREPARED for future conflict. HFF helps protect and rebuild peoples lives around the world whose freedom is under attack by authoritarianism.

We have supported and co-sponsored educational activities around the world-including high-level meetings public speaking engagements advocacy events and coalition-building initiatives-that highlight the growing threat of authoritarianism to the global advancement of freedom and democracy. These efforts have brought together policymakers civil society leaders journalists academics and frontline defenders of human rights to share insights build alliances and coordinate strategies. From international summits to regional forums our participation and support have helped amplify voices of resistance foster cross-border collaboration and ensure that the dangers posed by authoritarian regimes are met with informed unified and determined responses.
HFF Freedom Light is a series of investigative reports podcasts news programs and related initiatives that shine a spotlight on authoritarian disinformation propaganda and subversive activities around the world. This year we released key reports including: The Fight for Africa: Where Russian Chinese and Middle Eastern Efforts Converge to Control and Exploit the Continent and Russian Disinformation in the Balkans: Geopolitics History and the Impact of the Ukraine War. We also expanded our impact through the Freedom Light Editorial Cartoons which use visual commentary to challenge authoritarian narratives and through our flagship podcast and television show Around the World with Dane Waters which features global experts and frontline voices confronting rising authoritarianism.
