Mission
The mission of The Humanity Funds is to provide sustainable support and relief to individuals in global crisis areas with a focus on assistance for women and children. The programs of The Humanity Funds primarily in Ukraine include providing community heating points assistance to hospitals in crisis supporting programs to address psychological trauma caused by loss of family members and exposure to war addressing the health needs of women and children and as needed meeting immediate emergency needs after catastrophic events. The mission also includes support for Ukrainian Cultural Identity in face of Russia effort to erase that identity.

Ukraines hospitals are being attacked by Russian missiles and drones hampering their ability to provide life-saving services. To the best of its ability The Humanity Funds helps hospitals repair damage and replace destroyed equipment.
A part of Russian tactics in the war on Ukraine is to expropriate Ukraines rich culture. To counter his effort it is important to make sure the world understands the scope and breadth of that culture and its deep roots in Ukraine. To advance this objective The Humanity Funds brought the Kyiv Classic Orchestra to Seattle for a highly successful performance in Seattles Benaroya Hall.
The year we completed the Amputee Therapy Pool project initiated by The Humanity Funds in 2023.
The Humanity Fund has teamed up with Ohmatdyt Childrens Hospital and the Ukrainian non-profit Save Ukraine to bring together and expand existing programs to address the critical health problem of women in Ukraine.
Since the Russian full scale invasion The Humanity Funds has invested heavily in providing support in the form of Communiity Heating points Generator for Widows and most recently assisting in the repair of Ohmatdyt Childrens Hospital a victim of a Russian missile attack.
The Humanity Funds has a long history of supporting girls an womens education in Afghanistan. Because of Afghanistans difficult political situation the program is smaller than it once was but THF continues to provide private education for young women in the medical midwife field.
The Humanity Funds will continue to provide support to those suffering from unforseen emergency situations.
