The association also annually presents a gold metal to individual citizens and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the city of new york. The awards are presented at dinners at which representatives of new member companies and winners of the career nyc civil service and scholarship awards are recognized. The association also presents the distinguished service awards in acknowledgement of business and not-for-profit leadership. Excellence in public service awards is granted for recognized unique contributions to the community.
