We've presented work from more than 500 local filmmakers at our events.

We produce the Hyperreal Film Journal - a film criticism platform with more than fifty regular writers and a team of dedicated editors, all of whom write and work on a volunteer basis. The journal publishes new writing five days a week and is a go-to source for reliable, studied, entertaining film writing in Austin and around the country. Our writers are regularly accepted as accredited press at SXSW, TIFF, Sundance, and other top film festivals.
