Shaka Plates-The Hawaii State DMV Shaka License Plate Program offers Hawaii residents the option of having a Shaka symbol on their license plate for an additional $25/year on their annual registration fee, $20 of which is donated to ID8 as a 501C3 nonprofit. The goal of the program is to foster better driving habits and preserve the Aloha Spirit on Hawaii roadways. To date, over 5,000 license plates have been ordered and the number is growing at an increasing rate.
Hawaii Sketch Fest-Hawaii Sketch Fest is a two-day showcase that supports a positive Hawaii culture and fosters budding careers of local Hawaii comedic talent. 25 performers exhibited their talent to over 600 attendees.
Curriculum-Short clips from the film, "Shaka, A Story of Aloha" are paired with a 5-class Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum authored by the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Movement. This curriculum has been introduced to Hawaii Department of Education public schools on four Hawaiian islands (Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Hawaii Island) to several hundred teachers and is currently beginning pilot implementations at middle and high school levels. An elementary level version is currently being authored. BizzyB is an innovation learning app that features a library of entrepreneurial experiences for students grades 7-12. A project based learing platform. It teaches positive business values and provides students with the framework to transform ideas into entrepreneurial reality.
