Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team

The mission of imert (illinois medical emergency response team) is to maintain 24-hour operational readiness to lend medical assistance in time of disaster throughout the state of illinois. Also, imert is involved in enhancing awareness in illinois communities through education, training, and collaborating with other preparedness agencies to enhance the overall capability of the state of illinois in responding to emergencies. Imert is dedicated to increasing the confidence and competency of illinois' citizens in times of disaster.
