To make a positive impact in the lives of Military Veterans, Active Service Members and their families through advancing leadership and personal growth development, strengthening community and encouraging esprit de corp.

PERSONAL GROWTH PROGRAMS: Provides veterans/Active Service Members with personal growth and well-being opportunities through programs and workshops. Impact a Heros (IAH) collaborates and partners with other veteran- service organizations to garner further awareness throughout the year to include: Leadership Academy, addressing value-based goals for leadership strength; Camp Impact, a Character Does Matter 5-day overnight camp for veteran-connected teens; Casey Owens Memorial Library, a book inventory available for veterans and active service members of personal growth, leadership, and veteran-authored books;Heroic Self-Care Retreat, mind- body-skills to address anxiety due to trauma;Legacy of Freedom Gala, providing like-minded camaraderie and impactful presentations for personal growth; CPR/Life Saving Certification; and Emotional Intelligence Workshops, to enhance personal knowledge and skillsets for social and personal emotional wellbeing. Dare to Lead, workshops for courage-building based on Brene Brown research.
