Impact a Heros (IAH) collaborates and partners with other veteran- service organizations to garner further awareness throughout the year to include: Leadership Academy, addressing value-based goals for leadership strength; Camp Impact, a Character Does Matter 5-day overnight camp for veteran-connected teens; Casey Owens Memorial Library, a book inventory available for veterans and active service members of personal growth, leadership, and veteran-authored books;Heroic Self-Care Retreat, mind- body-skills to address anxiety due to trauma;Legacy of Freedom Gala, providing like-minded camaraderie and impactful presentations for personal growth; CPR/Life Saving Certification; and Emotional Intelligence Workshops, to enhance personal knowledge and skillsets for social and personal emotional wellbeing. Dare to Lead, workshops for courage-building based on Brene Brown research.
