Focusfirst: A High-Tech Vision Care initiative provides a cost-effective direct response to the vision problems of preschool-aged children who live in urban and rural communities - providing free vision screenings to children in Head Starts and daycares using high-tech digital screening cameras. All children failing the screenings receive free or subsidized follow-up care.
Savefirst: A High-Quality Tax Preparation Initiative that trains college graduate, and law students to provide free tax preparation services to low-income working families - especially targeting those eligible for the earned income tax credit.
SpeakFirst: An Alabama Student Debate Initiative that enriches the academic experience of talented and motivated students from the Birmingham area schools through participation in an "All-Star" debate team and preparatory program.
