Energy sustainability - the home weatherization (hwap) is a year-round program providing home energy conservation assistance including housing unit inspections; attic, wall and basement insulation; and access to energy-efficient applications to help lower home energy costs and reduce environmental pollutants. We have been instrumental in shaping and implementing the climate action plan, laying the groundwork for a more sustainable and resilient city. We have promoted two city of columbus solar co-ops, expanding access to clean and renewable energy for underserved neighborhoods. We have empowered thousands of individuals with the knowledge and tools to reduce their energy consumption and alleviate the burden of high energy costs.

Other programs - prosperity now supports individuals learning and applying basic financial principles that help manage debt more effectively, encourage saving and develop a financial strategy towards better money management. (self-sufficiency). Franklin county residents have the ability to have their income taxes (federal and state) prepared without incurring exorbitant fees.

Youth - the achieve more and prosper (a.m.p.) in-and out of school programs provides mentoring for youth in many forms - including in school support, paid work experiences, career readiness and financial literacy training. Boss up is an afterschool program empowering youth through various vehicles; financial literacy, health, careers,entrepreneurship and stock-investing, culminating with a shark tank-style pitch and graduation ceremony.workforce development - build up offers comprehensive job and construction skills training to income eligible adults 18 and up in franklin county, ohio, and includes a nationally recognized construction accreditation certificate. The empowered program is designed for young adults to explore careers in the clean energy sector and skilled trades. Designed as an immersive and engaging training program based on up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and expectations. Momentum is a three-week workforce development and training program.
