Impact hub houston is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works alongside over 130 impact hubs across 68+ countries to inspire, connect, and empower "changemakers" - people working at the intersections of innovation and entrepreneurship for a more just and sustainable world to reach their full potential and thrive. It designs and delivers entrepreneur and ecosystem acceleration, incubation, training and support programs, and facilitates capacity building, professional connections, and access to capital, to help these changemakers develop impactful solutions, launch startups, grow small businesses, create quality jobs, strengthen families and communities, and re-invest in their local economies to ultimately benefit the greater good.
Programs

Consulting in three key areas: ecosystem building, programs design & delivery, and marketing & outreach for community related efforts/resources. Programs supported in 2024 include adidas social impact accelerator, nlc ecosystem accelerator, aarp oats digital skills ready 50+, and lisc verizon small business digital ready (vsbdr). Ecosystems supported in 2024 include texas sustainable business network (txsbn), business ecosystem alliance for minorities & women (beamw), equitable small business ecosystem (esbe) pilot.
Fiscal sponsorship program allows mission-aligned efforts to apply for grants and accept donations without having to launch their own 501c3 nonprofit. Approved grantees must have projects that create positive impact and align with any of the united nations sustainable development goals. Ihh supported four projects for 2024: energy tech nexus, magnolia fund htx, texas sustainable business network, and impact hub boston.
