The museum maintains a collection of artifacts excavated in archaelogical digs consisting of: arrow heads, other weapons, pipes, pottery, jewelry, clothing, shelter,commerce, etc. Of no commercial value. In addition, we maintain documentation of provenance, location within the museum, relevant research & scientific publications. Photographs and documentation are available on our web site. The collection is highly regarded in the scientific community as a research resource and training opportunity for students at all levels. The museum is well-known on long island and most children in the area have benefited from tours and instruction.
