Indiana Medical History Museum Inc

The Indiana Medical History Museum received a Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to improve storage and environmental conditions for its visual collections by adding insulation under the roof deck installing blackout window shades renovating water damaged walls and ceiling and updating physical storage.

The medicinal plant garden demonstrates over 100 different species of plants used to treat diseases on five continents. The well labeled garden exhibit teaches visitors what plants can do including being the source of modern wonder drugs like aspirin digoxin and chemotherapeutic agents.
