The diverse business assistance program is designed to assist low-income business owners and provide free technical assistance, develop business plans and financial projections as well as provide grant funds to financially support small business needs. Icaa offers these services in the following counties: ashland (except the city of ashland), barron, bayfield, burnett, clark, douglas (except the city of superior), iron, price, rusk, sawyer, taylor, and washburn counties.

Family foundations home visiting offers additional referral services to improve the functioning of the entire family. Highly trained home visitors provide valuable guidance and support to help parents be the best that they can be. Home visitors then develop a trusting relationship with parents and help them be more emotionally available for their child. We offer at least one weekly home visit for the first six months after the child's birth. After those initial months, visit frequency is based on families' needs.

Expenses: $625K

Other programs to meet the needs of low-income and disadvantaged persons of all ages in rural areas to attain the skills, knowledge, and motivation that are needed to become self sufficient.
