Indy gateway board of directors has acquired funding through the gateway gallop 5k in prevous years as well as a grant from the central indiana community foundation to proceed in 2025 with the construction of the pathway and completion of the chapel rock trailhead. The project will include:-trail node and paved path connection on bota property (path not covered under next level trail grant)-trailhead plaza and path connection on church property-trailhead identity sign-directional sign at church entry areasfunding for construction has been raised in 2023 and 2024. Final bids were received in late 2024 with construction planned for the trail in 2025. No contracts have been signed to date for the construction. A grant was awarded in the amount of $3,886.69 to the white lick creek vandalia alliance for their trailwork. Also a grant payment of $11,771.57 to the b&o trail association was made in june as a down payment toward the trailhead work.

Our third objective was our annual shelton heights park fundraiser for continued maintenance of the park. The pints for park event was held in september.
