The Summer Business Meeting also features presentations on the state of the industry and several affiliated groups meet, including the Convention Committee and Missouri Mine Education Foundation.

The Emerging Leaders program began and currently has 25 members. They met in January 2024 at the Lake of the Ozarks and in September in Springfield. They will have SIX meet-up events throughout the year.

The Safety Awards program awarded 114 no loss time certificates, 72 plaques for multiple years of no loss time, and 20 plaques for multiples of 100,000 hours worked with no loss time. Category and overall winners were selected by the chair.

Meetings throughout the year included six board of director meetings, two Infra/MODOT Cooperative Committee meeting, two Environmental Committee meetings, four Infra Scholarship Committee meetings, two Infra Convention Committee meetings, two Emerging Leaders meetings, one Safety Committee meeting, and five Co-Partner with Missouri Mine Safety and Health meetings.

The Environmental Excellence Awards program awarded 96 certificates. All applications were graded by the MLPA Environmental Committee. Certificates awarded were 41 silver and 55 gold.
