The agency also continued to provide services to adults over the age of 60 who have limited or no family support. These services included personal care, homemaker, chore, minor home repairs and adult day care. Overall there was an increase in senior support services as compared to the previous fiscal year as well as for referrals. As mentioned above the agency is leading the effort in the development of a local inland empire master plan for aging which will also include the needs of older adults in the community.

Expenses: $824K

The agency continued in the provision of behavioral health and wellness services to help clients with their emotional and mental health. This is accomplished with the implementation of two evidenced based programs, pearls (program to encourage active and rewarding lives of seniors) and thrive (cognitive behavioral therapy for later life depression). There was an increase of referrals, and client sessions for both programs. The inland empire master plan for aging the agency is working on includes a goal which focuses on enhancing behavioral health and social supports in the inland empire for caregivers, older adults, and adults with disabilities.
