Inland Seas Institute

The purpose of the inland seas institute (isi)is to promote the study of maritime archeology and the discovery and preservation of maritime historic sites. Isi plans to work with the maritime studies programs at various universities to offer graduate field studies in maritime archeology with east carolina university, texas a & m university, and the university of michigan. Isi also plans to work with various schools and museums to provide educational seminars regarding maritime archeology and preservation. Isi will also plan to work with government agencies, organizations, and businesses to aid in identifying and preserving maritime historic sites.
