Isca's mission is to empower marginalized people to improve the quality of their lives and communities and to create transformation in the san francisco bay area by fostering affordable housing and making grants to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations.

In addition, pursuant to isca's position as a secured creditor with an option to repurchase the "park sunset" low-income apartment property located at 1353 seventh avenue, san francisco, isca continues to help assure that park sunset apartments provides affordable housing for low-income persons, seniors, and disabled persons.
Isca issued grants to the seventh avenue presbyterian church (sapc) of san francisco. Sapc has a long history of supporting nonprofit corporations and of building community among the inner sunset neighborhood of san francisco. In addition to providing religious services, sapc hosts a childcare center, addiction-recovery groups, health care information services of low-income seniors, neighborhoods arts and performances, and related community services.sabled persons.
