Icas 2024 annual conference icas celebrated its 10th anniversary and hosted its 2024 annual conference on december 12, 2024. The conference was held in full, in-person format and broadcasted via zoom to virtual audiences. The conference hosted keynote remarks delivered by mr. Qiu wenxing, minister at the embassy of the peoples republic of china in u.s. The session was moderated by professor gorden houlden, director emeritus of the china institute at the university of alberta, canada and a member of icas advisory board. The conference also hosted four panels of discussions over geopolitics and security, science and technology, third partys views on u.s.-china relations, and people-to-people exchanges. The conference also delivered a luncheon dialogue between stephen orlins, president, national committee on u.s.-china relations and amy celico, partner, albright stonebridge group.
Trade n technology tnt program the program chronicles and analyzes the evolving dynamics of u.s.-china trade and technology affairs as they occur. The program produced 25 commentaries, 3 blog posts, and 26 bi-weekly newsletters - the tnt dispatch, and hosted 3 events in 2024.
