Mission
The institute is a non-profit professional development, education, research, and advocacy organization. The institute for families and nannies provides educational and career pathways for nannies to meet the growing demand for quality childcare. Since 2016 they have developed three unique programs to meet their mission.
Programs
3 programs
Nanny-pro certificate to employment program: a workforce development program training nannies to meet federal and state standards for anyone working in licensed care. Students receive employment support from our partner organizations in the community.
Nanny-pro mentor program: we train our graduates to be teachers, coaches and role models for our students.
4. Advocacy: the institute will advocate for public policies at the federal, state, and/or local levels that would improve the quality of nanny care in what is currently an unlicensed and unregulated market. 5. Information and resources: the institute distributes print materials, videos, research, and support materials to parents, nannies, educators, childcare professionals, advocates, and research organizations.
