Spiritual direction: this is 18-month training prepares participants to serve as spiritual directors able to accompany others on their spiritual journeys in 1-1 or group settings. The program is directed by rabbi myriam klotz and taught by rabbi klotz and senior faculty rabbi elisa goldberg and karen erlichman, dmin, lcsw, augmented by additional mentors and supervisors, and guest faculty.

Tiferet: tiferet program is the second year of the three year gates of awareness program. Tiferet supports participants to deepen their personal meditation practice and understanding while training them in core practical pedagogical and practical skills to facilitate local meditation groups in a variety of settings, including giving meditation talks, developing jewish mindfulness lessons, guiding meditations, organizing groups and more. Students who successfully complete the full program will be certified as facilitators of jewish mindfulness meditation groups.

In addition to these programs, we also run several online courses for students seeking to develop jewish spiritual practices. Courses include gift of awareness, awareness in action, text study based on the weekly torah portion, and several courses focused on prayer study such as hitbodedut, liturgical prayer, and amidah. We also provide free online courses such as a weekly yoga studio and daily meditation sit.
