The agency provided in-home community living support and respite services for children and adults with developmental disabilties living in family homes in order to enhance their potential and support family caregivers.
Occupational therapy is a significant component of program services offered by the agency. The ot program services children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorders, as well as the same population with developmental disabilities. Intervention for children with autism is currently the primary focus of the ot program. Karen harris, founder/ceo, holds bachelors and master's degrees in ot and completed a phd in early childhood development augmenting the early intervention/child mental health services provided in the clinic and home-based therapy. Home modification evaluations and recommendations are also provided through the ot program. Our goal is to add additional therapeutic services to enhance the scope of the program.
