Mission
Inspired by diverse faiths and shared values, interfaith action of evanston brings people together to serve hungry and homeless people. Pursue interfaith diologue, and engage in advocacy that promotes social justice for those whom we serve.
Programs
3 programs
Soup kitchens - supports four weekly soup kitchens in evanston, which provide meals for as many as 300 people each week.
Hospitality center - a homeless ministry offering morning shelter, substance abuse and job counseling, nutritious snacks, spiritual guidance and friendship.
Warming center - saturday and sunday mornings, from october through may, we provide warming centers for anyone who needs to get out of the cold.
