The mission is to promote the independence, dignity and wellness of homebound elderly and disabled adults by matching them with volunteers who assist with the tasks of everyday life and to provide an exercise & education program for osteoporosis prevention.
Programs

Our project healthy bones (phb)program is a free osteoporosis prevention exercise and edcuation program for seniors. It is designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Phb participants learn about the importance of exercise, nutrition, safety, drug therapy & lifestyle factors that relate to osteoporosis. Another important benefit of the program is the opportunity for social engagement of its participants. In 2024, the program had 177 participants at various locations thorughout the greater mercer county area.
