Communication and dissemination - this program supports the iahpc communication strategy to enable the organization to effectively communicate with palliative care workers and organizations, potential funders, and decision makers to increase access to palliative care provision. Through the program, the iahpc positions palliative care at the core of public health, with a person-centered approach, generating positive, personal stories of providers and patients.

Education - this program provides funding, expert support, and learning opportunities to enable hospice and palliative care workers improve their competencies and skills for better care provision. The program supports conferences, educational events, seminars, courses, and educational activities.

Research - this program provides technical support and opportunities to iahpc members so they can take part in research projects to develop new and improve existing evidence-based information on palliative care. The program is focused on building consensus among palliative care workers from around the world, empowering iahpc members and supporting innovative opportunities.
