Organize and deliver annual conferences and symposia for information sharing, learning, and networking of our members and other individuals and organizations. Iaia24 was held in dublin, ireland with 1,109 participants representing 85 countries. Iaia also organized a smaller symposium in antigua, guatemala in november 2024 which had 212 delegates from 26 countries. Iaia prepared conference announcements, managed program development, collected registration fees, promoted the event, and provided in-person staffing of the event onsite.

Iaia offered 12 online training courses in 2024, with a total of 177 people taking the courses. In addition, iaia's professional development program (pdp) continues to provide online training in project-based impact assessment ad related studies. The training is designed to support individuals involved in carrying out studies, reviewing those studies, or otherwise participating in assessing the impacts of projects while the projects are being considered for approval. Pdp courses are trainer-supported, meaning that each course participant works one-on-one with an experienced trainer using online communications tools. In 2024, 138 participants enrolled in the foundations course, which was offered three times. A second pdp course on social impact assessment was launched in 2024. It was offered twice with a total of 62 participants.
