Optical program - during the year, the organization distributed funds to 83 members to cover eye care costs. The funds come from taxpayers through the fire district.

Scholarships, awards and education program: during the year, the organization distributed awards to 7 eastchester area, ny students in honor of their academic performance and community service. Also, the organization issued longevity awards to 4 firefighters who have recently reached retirement age in honor of their service

Public relations and events program: the organization sponsored many events for the membership and community they serve: the softball leagure involved about 12 firefighters. The columbus day parade reached about 28 firefighters and about 1,000 members of the community. The saint patricks day parade reached about 40 firefighters and about 1,500 members of the community. The childrens party reached about 57 firefighters children and about 60 members of the community. The adult holiday party eached about 55 firefighters and their significant others. The local 916 picnic reached about 50 firefighters and about 50 members of the communtiy. The annual dinner dance reached about 42 firefighters and their significant others.
