The upper darby professional firefighters, local 2493, is an organization of dedicated and devoted union members in their job and to their communities. Our organization was started by our charter members' hard work and sacrifice in january 1976. Our union members strive to help the community in a multitude of ways that include fundraisers, charitable drives, and community outreach events.
