International Association Of Fire Fighters

The purpose of the Association is to ensure a fair and healthy work environment within the fire department for the Town of Flower Mound. In addition to this purpose, the Association provides community outreach programs that further the cause of the communities well-being inside and outside of the Town of Flower Mound. These social programs are designed to give back to the surrounding community and support the area firefighters in times of need. The Board of Directors use their relationships with various political figures on the Town Council to ensure a fair and healthy work environment. No funds from the Association go toward political activities. Political activities are strictly through relationship building. Social programs consist of angel tree donations, cancer awareness activities and firefighter assistance programs. The Association is also restoring the first fire engine from the Town of Flower Mound and will donate that back to the area.
