International Association Of Lions Clubs

We receive donations of non-prescription reading glasses and sunglasses that we distribute in our programs in West Africa. We also receive donations of prescription eyeglasses that we cannot use without further processing. We decided to donate 7,900 of these to the Northwest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center which is better equipped to clean, read, and redistribute these eyeglasses. Estimate of $5 each market value was used to estimate value of this non-cash donation.
