International Association Of Lions Clubs

The mission of the international lions club is to empower volunteers to serve their community, meet humanitarian needs, encourage pease and promote understanding through lions clubs. The wimberley lions club generates an annual grant budget of 70,000 to 105,000. The money raised to meet these goals is done via a fundraiser, wimberley market days. This fundraiser is held 10 times per year on the first saturday of the month between march and december. Over 480 booths are located on a 19 acre tract. The club has been operating market days since 1969. This is the oldest open air market in texas. Funds are generated through booth rental, food concession sales and parking.
