The exempt purpose of lodge 13, international brotherhood of boilermakers, iron ship builders, blacksmiths, forgers and helpers scholarship fund is to provide scholarships to the children of the lodge's members upon successfully meeting the requirements set forth in the plan document and upon selection by an independent selection panel.
