The association is dedicated to promoting the value of professional detailing services, the recognition of professional detailing as a trade, and empowering detailing industry professionals at each stage in their career.

The ida university focuses on educating detailers for today's challenges. Ida held 19 webinars with 1,426 registrants in 2024. Ida attended eight industry tradeshows and held educational opportunities for members. Ida held 25 meet & greets, both in-person and virtually, to help industry members connect with other members.
0Founder's club membership is comprised of suppliers and operators that each contribute toward the founder's endowment fund. The founder's endowment fund is for furthering detailing education and training for future detailers. In 2024, one recipient was awarded an endowment.
