Member and branch/global partner services - 1) member services - through member services ida provides community and professional engagement opportunities and rights to some organizational decision-making processes. Membership in ida provides individuals with resources, invaluable networking and connections with community-based branches and global partners. Members also receive free resources, discounts on publications, professional development opportunities, and national, global and branch events. 2) branch and global partner services - branch development and support provide the tools, trainings, and support for ida branches and global partners to deliver mission related resources and program activities that serve individuals with dyslexia, their families and teaching professionals.

Publications and community resources and programs 1) publications - ida publications provide and disseminate relevant and actionable evidence-based information regarding dyslexia, literacy, learning, and other related disorders to inform instruction and implementation of structure literacy in all classrooms. Publications include: the biannual publication of ida's research-to-practice journal, perspectives on language and literacy, the tri-annual publication of ida's peer-reviewed scientific journal, annals of dyslexia, the biannual publication of the examiner, a magazine for families and teachers about hot topics in the science of reading and structured literacy, and frequent publication of fact sheets for a variety of audiences. 2) community resources - ida's dyslexialibrary.org is a free digital library designed to educate families and professionals and inform policy makers and educators regarding the best practices for literacy and learning. 3) community programs - ida offers select community outreach programs that provide services that help individuals with dyslexia and their families navigate challenging environments and successfully integrate into society. These programs range from providing scholarships for tutorial services, assistive technology, computer equipment and advocacy assistance to offering mentorship, workforce & transition resources, and educational training. Ida programs are charity based and funded.

Education and training - education and training are designed to enhance knowledge and skills at the levels of classroom teachers, dyslexia interventionist and specialists who are recognized as essential for the effectiveness of reading instruction with our private and public educational systems. The overall rationale for ida's education and training programs is to improve awareness of science of reading, to expand knowledge structured literacy and to promote the implementation of effective reading instruction.international program accreditation - the ida program review and accreditation initiative is unique to other accrediting models in that it promotes the systematic evaluation and refinement of educator preparation programs against ida's research-based knowledge and practice standards (kps) for teachers of reading. When an educator preparation program displays the ida accredited program seal and advertises itself as an ida accredited program, the public is assured that program completers have engaged a rigorous, standards-based preparation program designed to promote candidate mastery of the principles and practices of structured literacy.ida tv - designed to grow knowledge and sharpen practice, ida tv is the premier on-demand, e-learning platform for literacy professionals. The platform provides the best learning experiences for educators and adults, students, and children who struggle to read. Embodying the goal to create valuable professional development learning experiences ida tv has brought together leading experts in the practice and research of dyslexia, structured literacy, and related areas, to share the science of reading. These presenters support subscribers with knowledge, instruction, methods, and tools to meet the needs of all individuals with language learning disabilities. Additionally, the platform offers presentation resources, continuing education credits and learning tools to enhance the learning experience.
