Mission

To serve the electrical testing industry by establishing standards; publishing specifications; accrediting independent, third party, electrical testing companies; certifying test technicians; and promoting the professional services of its members. The association also collects and disseminates information and data of value to the electrical industry and educates the public and end user about the merits of electrical acceptance and maintenance testing.

Neta hosts the annual powertest electrical safety and maintenance conference. Powertest includes paper presentations on safety, reliability, and equipment; a new product forum; a trade show; interactive panel sessions and symposiums, post-conference seminars and various networking opportunities. The conference is held over a period of four days during the month of february.

Neta world, the official publication of the international electrical testing association, is the electrical testing industry's leading technical journal for up-to-date information on products, services, tips and techniques. Each quarter, neta world delivers coverage of the latest industry trends, technology breakthroughs, new products, and solutions, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting tips for power distribution systems. Neta world also offers customer case studies, training information, and helpful links to scores of in-depth resources. Neta world has a readership of over 80,000 worldwide. This quarterly technical journal is distributed through the following avenues: o paid subscriptions purchased by individuals or corporations actively involved in the electrical testing industry. O distribution to neta accredited companies and affiliates to the technical industry. O reciprocal subscriptions to qualified industry analysts, consultants, and training providers. O complimentary copies to direct customers of neta or individuals requesting information about the association's products or services. O special promotions, events, and other nationwide marketing efforts.
