International Fellowship For Mission As Transformation-Infemit

Stott-Bediako: The Stott-Bediako events are short conferences and consultations on issues of the gospel and mission. In 2024, INFEMIT hosted the Stott-Bediako Forum on the topic: "Transformation Revisited: Mission and Gospel Imagination." The event was first held in person from July 15-17 with 116 people from 30 countries. It was later facilitated online, with over 200 registrants from all over the globe. The forum featured 48 presentations that included art and liturgy, Bible exposition, case studies, and interdisciplinary academic research. Resources generated from the event include several online videos available for public viewing. The forum also served as a space of dialogue, encouragement, fellowship, and learning for all those who participated.

Regional Support: The organization provides support to partner organizations and regional fellowships in the form of speakers or participants' travel to regional consultations and small membership fees. We also seek to nurture cross-regional dialogue and exchange. In 2024, INFEMIT continued our initiative to connect groups of theologian-practitioners from around the globe in monthly online fellowship. We also hosted online conversations on diverse topics with global participants. We participated the 4th Global Congress of the Lausanne Movement and in other regional and global events related to our mission. We contributed to several publications throughout the year, and we continued to strengthen our network of partnerships by regularly curating a newsletter with information about our partners. Finally, we began a collaboration with nine other organizations to plan a Peacebuilding Summit for 2025 that will explore the Church's role in peacebuilding in Palestine-Israel.

Academic Projects: Academic projects include writing and publications in areas related to the organization's mission and participation in consultations and research on important topics of mission in the world today. INFEMIT particularly seeks to support the work of younger leaders in this area. In 2024, INFEMIT hosted regular "community conversations" which provide space to learn about and discuss the work of members of our global community. We also carried out the academic research and reflection process that culminates in the Stott-Bediako Forum (which included 7 young scholar-practitioners from different regions of the world). INFEMIT also continued to highlight the work of global scholar-practitioners through content in multimedia formats online through our newsletter, social media, and website.

Faith and Life is a curriculum development program that shares a model for theological formation "from and for life" that can be adapted and used by organizations or churches in different regions. Regionally diverse programs are created and contextualized that form church and community leaders to practice mission as transformation in their contexts. In 2024, the Faith and Life program continued to be used in master's and doctoral level programs on "Faith and Public Life" at the University of Arad in Romania. The goal of the Faith and Life program is to identify and accompany regional and local leaders through the process of creating contextually appropriate theological formation programs that encourage the doing of theology "from and for life."
