Mission
Iiit's mission is to conduct and disseminate educational research to empower muslim societies with data-driven recommendations for transformative education policy and practice. Iiit is a center of excellence in educational research and islamic thought whose main interest is on carrying out evidence-based research in advancing education in muslim societies and the dissemination of this research through publication and translation, teaching, policy recommendations, and strategic engagements.
Programs

Research, tfi, academic support and library - iiit conducts educational research, holds seminars, conferences, and workshops, and funds classroom instruction on topics of interest from islamic perspective.
Global policy research - the policy research program researches and issues publications covering foreign policy issues related to various countries and regions, most notably the middle east, asia and eastern europe. In 2019, the program also held public and private round-table discussions, panels, presentations and book talks with key us and international policy makers, experts and authors.
Publications and marketing - iiit funded the publication and distribution of scholarly books and journals and films.iiit funded classroom instruction on topics of interest from the islamic perspective.
