Membership services: the membership team delivers a range of services and benefits to ila members who are based in nearly 100 countries. These include the ila intersections member portal with the member directory, discussion forums, member community forums, and access to members-only resources; member pricing on conference registration; a mailed copy of their selected building leadership bridges book and open access to the online library of the ila's building leadership bridges series; and open access to leadership perspectives webinars. The ila's fourteen member communities are organized to address the professional needs and interests of ila members. Volunteer led, the communities recommend submissions for the global conference, and throughout the year they organize online meetings, educational presentations, and networking events. An example of member community programming is the peer-to-peer mastermind mentoring program. This cohort mentoring opportunity is organized by the ila women & leadership member community. The program focuses on supporting the professional development of ila members using the mastermind format. Facilitated by member volunteers, cohorts meet monthly to offer brainstorming, peer accountability, and support as members challenge each other to set and accomplish goals. Another cross-community initiative involves a partnership with vital voices and the julie ann wrigley global futures laboratory at arizona state university. As a supporting partner, ila provides executive leadership coaches from within the ila membership to the five we empower sdg awardees.

Publications:ila's publications included inclusive leadership: equity and belonging in our communities, a book in ila's building leadership bridges series with emerald publishing; and the gift of transformative leaders and questioning leadership books published in the cambridge elements in leadership series in partnership with the moller institute at cambridge university. Ila also published 14 blogs in its leadership for the greater good series and more than 60 podcasts. Ila's monthly interface newsletter published news as well as articles of interest through our pause for pedagogy column, among others.the building leadership bridges book series continued with the publication of inclusive leadership: equity and belonging in our communities (emerald, 2023) edited by joanne barnes, michael j. Stevens, bjorn zakarias ekelund, and karen perham-lippman. The 51 contributors from 8 countries included academic researchers, educators, organizational leaders, development professionals, consultants, and others. Designed as a practical book to help improve how readers conceptualize and think about diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and access, it provides tools and case studies to help guide the practice of inclusive leadership. The cambridge elements in leadership series in partnership with the ila and the moller institute at cambridge university continued with the publication of two volumes: the gift of transformative leaders, edited by nathan o. Hatch shared the stories of thirteen transformative leaders to illuminate how the author approached identifying talent and empowering leaders to lead in bold and creative ways. Questioning leadership, edited by michael harvey explored the ways leaders ask hard questions that spark creative solutions and new understandings. Asking by itself isn't enough, however, and leaders must also help find answers and turn them into effective action.the ila leadership for the greater good blog series published authors, most of whom are ila fellows or ila lifetime achievement awardees, who turn their leadership lens onto prescient issues of the day, applying their leadership wisdom to inform and inspire readers, and advance leadership knowledge and practice for a better world. Ila published 14 publicly accessible blogs with over 28k views by over 20k unique viewers. Podcasts are an important vehicle for providing leadership resources to the public and to ila members. This year's interviews with leaders, researchers, educators, coaches, and development professionals from diverse contexts provided tips, tools, and new ways of thinking about leadership theory and practice. The ila continues to partner on three podcasts. Phronesis: practical wisdom for leaders is ila's official podcast with weekly episodes. Maureen metcalf continued to partner with the ila on a series of 12 global leadership podcasts for her innovating leadership podcast. Ila members lauren bullock and dan jenkins partnered with ila to feature the work of other ila members and to record post-conference podcasts with some of our lifetime achievement awardees. Ila official podcast and podcast partnerships reach listeners around the globe and are ranked at the top of the listen notes charts: leadership educators - top 5%; phronesis - top 2.5%; innovating leadership - top 0.5%.the interface newsletter honors the fact that the ila's membership includes people located in many, and often multiple, independent systems who all interface in the ila around their commitment to advance leadership knowledge and practice for a better world. Interface shares articles highlighting association news, new resources and contributions from ila members such as the pause for pedagogy column, blogs, and podcasts, and resurfaces timeless leadership resources to make them newly discoverable.
