The International Women on the Rise program is designed to empower international women in St. Louis through two interconnected tracks. we had two Programs in 2024. Program 1 - Securing the Right Job Objective: To support international women who are seeking employment by boosting their confidence and providing resources to secure jobs that match their skills and backgrounds. Program 2 - Navigating a Successful U.S. Career Objective: To aid international women who are currently employed in understanding and thriving in the U.S. workplace. Support: Each session includes inspiring guest speakers who share their career journeys and experiences. Overall, the program combines group coaching, community resource sharing, and structured, goal-oriented workshops to ensure that international women not only find meaningful employment but also thrive in their professional environments in St. Louis.

The International Chefs Club is a cultural engagement initiative under the International Mentoring STL (IMSTL) program. The Club hosts two to three events annually, bringing together local mentors and international mentees to share and celebrate their cultural heritage through food. These events promote cross-cultural understanding, foster community connections, and provide a platform for participants to engage in meaningful dialogue and relationship-building. By highlighting culinary traditions from around the world, the International Chefs Club supports IMSTL's mission of inclusion, integration, and mutual learning.

A key component of the International Mentoring Program (IMP) is promoting cross-cultural education and understanding. This is achieved through structured cultural presentations, where international participants share insights about their home countries, including traditions, values, and social norms. These presentations offer a comparative perspective between their native culture and their experiences in the United States. The initiative provides local participants with the opportunity to learn directly from individuals around the world, fostering greater empathy, cultural awareness, and global connection within the community.
