International needs was founded on a vision to transform lives and change communities, helping christian leaders serve god through assisting the most vulnerable populations within their own countries. That vision has grown to an international network of partnerships of countries in africa, asia, australia, eastern europe and north and south america. Christian leaders throughout this network have united to change lives for jesus christ through a variety of faith-based holistic programs and projects focusing on gospel outreach, education, health, economic development, water and sanitation and refugee assistance. Programs and projects within these service areas target the most vulnerable and needy families and communities within the countries international needs serve which include: bangladesh, burkina faso, columbia, czech republic, egypt, ethiopia, ghana, india, kenya, nepal, philippines, romania, slovakia, turkey, uganda, vietnam, sri lanka, united states and zambia. The centerpiece of everything international needs does is faith based, church planting and outreach. Teams of community workers reach individual communities bringing the life-changing message of jesus christ to some of the most hard-to-reach areas in the world. Educational support is provided through child sponsorship and is an excellent example of transforming a person's life opening up oppportunities through educational assistance. Vocational training programs and leadership seminars, particularly aimed at vulnerable women and those ensnared in poverty, transform individuals and their families by providing sustainable livelihoods positively impacting families and commmunities. Special projects such as digging wells and providing sanitation support or building schools help transform entire communities for years to come. Within each of the countries international needs serves, needy populations of refugees and international displaced individuals are targeted for specialized relief and support services. Woven throughout all of these projects and programs is a very clear holistic and practical demonstration and presentation of the gospel of jesus christ. Short-term ministry teams and church partnerships unite ministry countries with people who live in the united states allowing both parties to grow and learn through their interactions with each other.
