Biennial congress and other meetings - IPTA holds a biennial congress that present scientific material through symposia, oral abstracts, and small group sessions designed for in-depth exploration of both clinical and basic science topics. There was no biennial meeting in 2024. IPTA also sends its leadership to present talks on pediatric transplantation at international congresses held by other medical associations. In addition, IPTA holds a Fellows Meeting which is designed for and limited to clinical fellows and residents, surgical fellows, research fellows, and other trainees who are planning a career in pediatric transplantation medicine, surgery or research.
Outreach program which provides grants to support medical clinics in less medically developed areas in order to facilitate access for children with end-stage organ failure to safe, ethical and highly-qualified solid organ transplants.
