The purpose of the corporation shall be limited to the promotion of the performing arts through public exhibitions, workshops, seminars, classes, financing performances, providing and renovating facilities for use by artists, artist-in-residence programs, and other activities designed to provide the general public with broader access to the performing arts and artists, to provide education relating to the performing arts, to encourage the production of public performances, and to enhance the cultural environment of the community through performing-art-related programs.
