Support for the development, production, and dissemination of mission-specific activities that seek to improve English language education worldwide

The TIRF Kathleen M. Bailey Teacher-Research Award encourages, supports, and recognizes classroom-based research conducted by practicing English language teachers worldwide, fostering new knowledge and teacher-research skills. Each award provides 1,000 USD and optional mentoring support from TIRF. Five grants were awarded in 2024.

TIRF-BC Research Mentoring Awards support new researchers in low-income countries meant to improve the quality of research undertaken by students in doctoral programs within the field of English language education. 5 grants to individuals residing outside the United States. All grants were awarded on merit after review by Board members.
