Mission

The international school provides language immersion education. See schedule o. The international school provides a multicultural learning environment where children are fully immersed in the spanish, japanese or chinese language and culture. Children become fluent in another language, feel at home in other cultures, while at the same time are engaged in math, science, social studies and arts. The international school was founded in 1990 with just 5 students and now educates nearly 400 students.

Summer camp - provided a rich and challenging summer camp environment for american children to develop skills in spanish, chinese or japanese, creating more confident and productive children that will retain, expand, and reuse the skills learned for years to come. Approximately 370 students benefitted.

Extended day program - provided continued student enrichment through supervised activities in music, art, dance, and homework support. Approximately 177 students benefitted.

The school sponsors the deloris a. Spear center for excellence in teaching (the spear center) which aims to serve as the hub for educational innovation and professional learning through workshops and conferences with world-renowned educators.
