Promote, educate and encourage high standards of care for burn injuries including prevention, research and cooperation among all member countries.

Provide education and resources to assist and improve the level of care for thermally injured patients accross the globe. The society helps formulate burn care guidelines and has a biannual congress providing educational programs for burn care providers. Through global education, prevention and clinical care efforts the society is helping to establish one world, and one standard of care.
