The iscb has two official journals, oup "bioinformatics and oup/iscb "bioinformatics advances", which have the highest impact on mathematical and computational biology. Iscb also has affiliations with other journals for subscriptions that benefit its members.

The iscb provides a website to allow members to network and communicate, to search job postings and to provide other career resources, to search online courses, to search degree and certificate programs for computational biology and to inform about affiliate organizations.

Webinar: iscb invested in an online community platform to run its webinar program juno. This platform allows the webinars to be conducted live and hosts on-demand libraries of iscb webinat and conference content. The platform is open access and can be accessed via registering to use the platform
