INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF DERMATOLOGY - Published monthly, the International Journal of Dermatology (IJD) is specifically designed to provide dermatologists around the world with a regular, up-to-date source of information on all aspects of the diagnosis and management of skin diseases.IJDs longstanding interest in global dermatology and tropical skin diseases began upon its first issue release in the early 1960s. Today a well-established global presence, IJD showcases a comprehensive exploration into all aspects of dermatology, including basic sciences, venereology, and public health, and teaching dermatology in developing countries.

Membership services - the society provides benefits of membership inclusive of newsletter, data base,membership reference and other reference tools for members and non-members can learn about dermatological topics and member locator to discuss specific issues in dermatology.

ISD Mentorship Program - The ISD Mentorship Award Program enacts ISDs vision to improve care through sharing knowledge, increasing professionalism, and bringing together the diverse global dermatology community. It provides enriched networking opportunities and observational mentorship for a duration of 4-6 weeks.It connects dermatologists (Board certified) and residents (still undergoing training) in all corners of the world with recognized professional leaders worldwide. It aims to enhance the mentees knowledge and experience on patient care and treatment as well as immersion in new trends and advancement in dermatology. Upon completion of the program, ISD hopes that all mentees will share and pass forward their gained knowledge and experience to their local communities and other professionals in the fields of dermatology to enhance further the impact on patient care.

Scholarships and ISD Global Education Awards - To honor the memory of Maria M. Duran, MD, former Secretary-General and Executive Vice-President of the International Society of Dermatology, the Maria M. Duran Committee recognizes potential future female leaders in international dermatology by awarding the Maria Duran Fellowship. One to two fellowships of up to US $1,000 each year to attend an ISD meeting where she will present a poster or oral presentation and registration fees to that meeting will be paid.Global Education Awards and Travel Scholarships - The ISD provides Global Education Awards for ISD sponsored meetings including the International Congresses of Dermatology and the Continental Congresses. Candidates for the award should be at the equivalent level of U.S. residents, fellows, or post-doctoral instructors to be considered for this award and 35 years old or younger. Scholarships are available for young dermatologists, under 35 years old to attend ISD sponsored regional meetings.
