Iowa association of county medical examiners seeks to:1) promote the highest professional standards for iowa county medical examiners and investigators2) study, research, and exchange information, experiences, and ideas leading to improvement in the office of county medical examiner3) represent the county medical examiners and investigators in the state of iowa4) educate all iowa physicians and county medical examiner investigators as to medical examiner law, death investigation and roles and responsibilities of county medical examiners and investigators, and to conduct these activities throughout the state of iowa.to the end that the citizens of iowa are better served by their county medical examiners and investigators.
