The climate initiatives program (cip) works to build healthy and thriving communities by helping iowans prepare for the impacts of climate change and protect our neighbors from harmful environmental pollution. From building resilience to floods, heat waves, and other climate impacts to reducing air, land, and water pollution, the cip envisions an iowa where communities work together to solve environmental and climate problems to build just, vibrant, and healthy communities.
